Greets 10th Year
Dr. and Mrs. Milton H. Okun
are spending a few days in New
York City where Mrs. Okun, as
Michigan delegate, is attending
the national ORT convention.
The Povolotcher Aid Society
observed its 10th anniversary and
the first anniversary of the State
of Israel at a banquet last Sunday
night.
Speakers included Charles P.
Nathanson, M a x Shusterman,
president, and Samuel Joseph.
Sally Fields, newly-appointed
mid-west director of Material for
Israel, gave the invocation.
Other officers of the organiza-
tion are Sol Levine, Mrs. Sol Le-
vine and Sam Chernoff.
Back from New York is Mrs.
Ivor Kahn.
Mrs. Joseph Zackheim of Buf-
falo is visiting with the Maurice
H. Zackheims of Webb avenue.
