Hanita Chapter, Pioneer
Women, will have an afternoon
tea Saturday at the home of Mrs.

will speak. Lillian Bagdade and
Fannie Schreier will preside at
the tea table.

Women's Auxiliary, Jewish
Home for the Aged, will meet
Monday at the home. A special
anniversary program depicting
the progress of the auxiliary in
the last 24 years will be present-
ed. Mrs. Samuel NewMan is pro-
gram chairman. Committee mem-
bers include Mesdames W. Las-
ser, B. Arkin, B. Feldstein, J.
Caplan and J. Wolfe. Mrs. Samuel
Zeldes is president.

The Equality Club will meet
Wednesday, May 18 at the home
of Sophie Lerman, 2657 Pasadena
avenue. Trees will be planfed
in Israel in memory of Bessie
Goo, mother of Minnie Bloom.

Sisters of Zion Mizarchi which
will hold an election of officers
June 8.

Books of all kinds are solicited
for the Beth Yehudah Schools li-
brary. All types of books, fiction,
non-fiction, and reference (par-
ticularly juveniles) will be wel-
comed, according to Principal
Joseph Goldberg.
"We will be glad to call for the
books," says Goldberg, "if readers

Mohr to Open Elections Slated
Cape Cod Hotel by N.W. Hebrew

Morris Mohr, Detroit communal
leader, is again opening the my
hotel in Cape Cod serving a Jew-
ish clientele.
The Sea Crest hotel, N. Fal-
mouth, Mass. is five hours from
New York City and 63 miles south
of Boston. Mohr's sons, Arthur
and Joe, will assist in managing
the hotel.
The main building contains 80
rooms and there are five attached
cottages.
The Sea ,Crest has its private
two miles of white sandy beach
on the Atlantic. The gulf stream
warms the waters to a mild 75
degrees. Surf casting, deep sea
fishing and sailing are available.
