for members. Each worker will
receive the names of carefully
screened membership prospects.

Beth Aaron Unit
Plans Prize Night
Beth Aaron Sunday School will
present an evening of prizes and
awards at 9 p.m., Tuesday, May
17. Proceeds will be used to off-
set the yearly operating financial
deficit of the Sunday School.
The educational program is
supervised by Bernard Panush.
Among the prizes are tele-
vision set and a combination radio
and phonograph, Meyer Pome-
rantz, chairman, announced.

Weinberg Gets
Council Post
Julius Weinberg h a s been
named director of internal rela-
tions of the Jewish Community
Council, Boris Joffe, executive
director, announced. He succeeds
Louis Fraiberg who has resigned.
Weinberg is a native of Cleve-
land where he received his edui-
cation, In 1945, he graduated
from Western Reserve University
with high honors. Ile was or-
dained Rabbi in 1947.
Active in Young Israel and
Avtikah, Weinberg has applied
himself to communal activities.
He has been executive director
of the Mirrer Yeshivah in New
York and executive secretary of
Yeshivah Beth Yehudah here.
