daughter Constance Siegel Sles-
inger to Edward Okun of Kala-
mazoo, April 10. Mr. Okun is
the son of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Simon Okun of Kalamazoo. The
marriage was performed in Tem-
ple Beth El by Rabbi B. Benedict
Glazer. After spending six weeks
in the south, the couple will make
their home in Kalamazoo.

Mr. and Mrs. Ben Tennenholtz
of the Belcrest are visiting in
St. Petersburg, Fla.

Dr. and Mrs. Robert Drews of
Broadstreet boulevard have re-
turned from Hartford, Conn.

At a ceremony held Tuesday evening at the Franklin Hills
Country Club, Audrey Ruth Buckner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Norman Buckner of Pontiac, became the bride of Don Edward Gel-
bard, son of Mrs. Abraham Rudolph Gelbard of Whitmore road, and
the late Mr. Gelbard. •
The bride wore a family gown of ivory satin of a period design.
The gown was styled with a tightly-fitting bodice and very brief
sleeves that fell from the oval-shaped collar over the shoulder.
The skirt tell over a hoop and at the hemline the satin was
caught up in flowerets of satin with a center of seed pearls, reveal-
ing a petticoat of chantilly lace. The gown fell at the back into a
full-length train. The bride wore gauntlets of satin to match the
gown and carried a cascading bouquet.
Mrs. Irving Goodman was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were
Mrs. Robert Rippa of Tampa, Fla,, Mrs. Noel A. Buckner, Mrs.
Martin Parker of New York, and Diane Louise Gelbard.
Burton Frederic Bielfield was best man. Messrs Cyril Wagner,
Robert Byron Jacob, Lester Neiman, Arthur Schlesinger, Jr., Noel
Buckner and Herbert Buckner served as ushers.
Following a honeymoon in Europe, the couple will reside in
Detroit.
