'Beth Yehudah Day' Marked
by Synagogues on Passover

Thursday, the first day of Pass-
over, was "Beth Yehudah Day"
in all the Synagogues of Detroit
by proclamation of the Detroit
Council of Rabbis.
The ancient commandment for
Passover is "Tell thy children the
story of our people and our
faith." That is why the council
chose the first day of Passnver to
intensify the traditional appeal in
behalf of Yeshivath Beth Yehu-
dah. '
