Abramowitz. Exhibits
Prints, Oils, at Center
An exhibit of block prints and
small oils by Albert Abramowitz
will be presented under the aus-
pices of Detroit Bnai Brith April
7 through April 10 at the Center.
Abramowitz has exhibited in
the Salon d'Autoinne in Paris and
in most major European and
American cities and is represent-
ed in the print collections of the
British Museum, Moscow mus-
eums, the Library of Congress
and the Metropolitan Museum of
New York.
Detroit Chapter
Because of the death of Mrs.
Ruth Einstandig, the Detroit
Chapter will not meet April 12.

Brandeis Chapter
A movie night will feature the
meeting of the Louis D. Brandeis
Chapter at 8:30 p. m , Monday
at Rose Sittig hall. Mrs. Harry
GutoW is program chairman..
Louis Magedman of the lodge will
be in charge of the film presen-
tation. Reservations are being
accepted for the May 4 banquet
set for the new Mayfair, Mes-
dames Esther Sher and Jean
Howell, chairmen, announced.'
Members are requested to bring
cookies for 'hospitalized veterans.

Bloch Chapter
The Ivan S. Blocli Chapter will
meet Monday at the Labor Zion-
ist Institute. Haskell Lazere,
Michigan representative of the
ADL, will present a movie and
sound script, Mrs. Irving Oppen-
heim, ADL chairman,'announeed.

Cross blood bank. Twenty-six mem-
bers were donors when a Red Cross mobile unit arrived at their
meeting place.
