Rosenwald Unit Visits Lapeer

The Julius Rosenwald Auxil•
iary held its regular Passover
party at the Lapeer State hos-
pital March 27. Rabbi Herman
Rosenwasser prepared the pro-
gram. Food, and gifts were dis-
tributed to each patient.

Under the leadership of Mrs.
William B. Isenberg, chairman of
general solicitation, Women's Di-
vision workers will be ringing
doorbells on "The Day," Sunday,
April 24, in the drive to cover
14.000 prospects in one day of
giving.

Cohen. Mrs. Helen Lewis, Mr.
and Mrs. Jack Fisher, Bob Mor-
rison, Irving Cohen and the Julius
Rosenwald Post assisted in the
successful presentation of the
event.

pected to participate in the calls
upon more than 14,000 general
solicitation prospects.
Id CENTS A DAY

"The aim of every solicitor
will be to secure pledges of at
least 10c a day,", Mrs. Isenberg
said, "because even 10c a. day
will provide clothing for a DP
boy and girl on his way to Israel,

•

'Ten cents a day will also buy
good food on an agricultural set-
tlement in Israel for one month
for some child who has never
known security. It also means
two weeks of nourishing food
for a young refugee family of
four who are among the 2,000
lucky ones to reach the United
States monthly."
