In a candlelight ceremony at Congregation Shaarey Zedek,
March 20, Annette Stern, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Stern
of Monterey avenue, was united in marriage to Sherwin J. Lutz,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Lutz. of Chicago.
The bride chose a gown of candlelight slipper satin fashioned
with a dropped shoulder in a Duchess line trimmed with studded
rhinestone Lamay Galone lace. Her skirt flared out to a 10-foot train.
She wore a candlelight illusion fingertip veil caught up in a
scalloped Lamay lace Juliet cap. She carried a whith Prayer Book
with white orchids, lillies of the valley and philaelonopsis.
Mrs. Harold Stern was matron of honor. Rhoda Fishel was
maid of honor and Sharron Stern was junior bridesmaid. Brides-
maids were Shirley Rubin, Roslyn Fisher, and Mesdames Herbert
Lutz and Samuel Phillips.
Herbert Lutz served as his brother's best man. Sherwin Tukel,
Harold Brode, Victor Rich and, Stanley Phillips were ushers. Gary
Stern was ring-bearer.
After a Miami honeymoon, the couple will reside at 1205 Sher-
win avenue west, Chicago, Ill.
