This will be Dr. Sachar's first appearance in Detroit since his election to the presidency of the Jewish-sponsored university. He will speak on "The Jewish Fate and Future."' Pi.rticipating men's clubs will be those of Shaarey Zedek, Beth El, Bnai David, Northwest He- brew, Beth Aaron, Bnai Moshe and the Downtown Synagogue. In accordance with custom, the dinner will be strictly Kosher. Subscriptions are $5 a plate. Reservations may be made at Temple Israel or the associate Synagogues. As president of the host club, Maurice Levin will deliver the welcoming address. Harry Plis- kow will serve as toastmaster and Rabbi Leon Fram will intro- duce Dr. Sachar. Cantor Robert S. Tulman will entertain with traditional songs and those from his operatic repertoire. Dr. Abram L. Sachar, founder and formerly national director of Bnai Brith Hillel Foundationi and now president of Brandeis Uni- versity, will be guest of honor at the annual intercongregational men's clubs dinner.
