the final paragraph of the scout

work, swimming, boating, camp-
fires, hiking and other events

better overnight camps.

Swimming in Walled Lake will
be supervised by Red Cross life
guards. All counselors will be
experts in their specialties.

The etchings of the late .Elias
M. Grossman, one of the na-
tion's formost etchers at the time
of his death in 1947, have been
exhibited at the Center.
Also shown were the works
of his son Allan, who, although
only 15, has already had one
man showings at the National
Academy of Art and the Brook-
lyn library. Allan works from
his imagination whereas his fa-
ther drew his subjects from real
life personages, critics point out.
Mrs. Grossman is touring
American cities with her hus-
band's and son's works. The
etchings are for sale. She may
