Aids Hebron Yeshivah

With more than $120,000 re-
- ported at the end of the third
week in Detroit's Histadrut cam-
paign, workers were told by
Sam Rabinovitz, director, that
boosts in contributions and gifts
by new contributors were netting
the campaign a 25 percent in-
crease over last year's figures.
A successful Histadrut evening
was reported by J. Brody, Lach-
owitcher Aid representative, who
turned in increased contributions.
N. Rose, on behalf of the Here-
znitzer Aid, with $7,000 already
to its credit, reported a 25 per-
cent increase in the organiza-

is in Detroit representing the
Hebron Yeshivah in Israel. The
Yeshivah is in the midst of an
emergency building fund cam-
paign to assist in the restora-
tion of its dormitories which
were demolished by the Arabs
during the fighting in Israel.
The Yeshivah was transferred
25 years ago from Europe to
Palestine where it became a
renowned center of higher
Jewish education. Upwards of
300 students attend the Ye-
shivah, including many Ameri-
