The Hotel Book Cadillac will
be the scene March 16 of the
mutual fund-raising luncheon
and fashian show of the Women's
Auxiliary, Mainumides Medical
Beciety. Capt. Yaakov Wayland,
trommander of the Nr,gba battle,
addressed the group Tuesday.

All officers of the Ladies Aux-
iliary of the Mlawer Umgegend
Verein have been reelected to
serve another term.
They are Mesdames Joe Kas-

honorary vice - president; Al

J. Klayman, secretary.

Is League Topic

A discussion on "Know Your
Art Museum" will highlight a
meeting of the community rela-
tions board of the League of
Jewish Women's Organizations at
10:30 a.m., Monday, Jan. 31, in
the Art Institute.

Council of Jewish Women will
serve as hostesses at a breakfast
preceding the session.
Presidents and community re-
lations chairmen of all affiliated
groups of the League are in-
vited, Mrs. Samuel B. Dante,
League president, said.

brew Schools when they get to-
gether at 8:30 p.m., Saturday, in

Federation women
to Tour Agencies

Five "come-and-see" tours to-
gether with five stimulating dis-
cussion meetings are planned to
start Feb. 7 by the Jewish Wel-
fare Federation's Women's Divis-
ion.
A project of the education com-
mittee, under the chairmanship
of Mrs. Louis Glasier and Mrs.
Harry August, the first meeting is
booked for 1 p.m., Monday, Feb.
7 at the Art Institute, under the
general title of "Education For-
um—Forty-Nine." The first of the
series will be devoted to a discus-
sion of family problems with a
visit to the Jewish Sogial Service
Bureau.
WILL VISIT CLINIC
The North End Clinic at 1 p.m.
on Feb. 15 will be the scene of
the second forum with health as
the subject. A tour of the facili-
ties of the clinic is planned.
Those who have not visited the
12th Street Council Center will
particularly enjoy the forum de-
voted to youth at 1 p.m., Monday,
Feb. 21.
At the Jewish Home for Aged
the subject will be "Security for
Ourselves Depends on Security
for All." This meeting is sched-
uled for Monday, Feb. 28.
DESSERT PRECEDES
The final session will take place
at the Center, Friday, March 4.
Each of the meetings will be
preceded by dessert. Women are
urged to make their reservations
for one or more of the meetings
by calling WO. 5-3939.

New recordings of Jewish mu-
sic, with annotations by Cantor
Hyman Adler, will be played at
a musicale of Hashofar, Society
for the Advancement of Jewish
Music, at 8:30 p.m., Sunday, in
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Saul

west. Cantor Adler will lead
community singing, with Lillian
Robbins at the piano. Refresh-
ments will be served.

Sammy Barnett's orchestra
will play for the pre-Valentine
social mixer of the Sunday
Nighters, Feb. 6 at the Jewish
Center. Every 10th man will be
admitted free.

All counselors, campers and
friends are invited • to the annual
reunion of Farband Camp and
Kinderwelt, March 6 at the

sah.
"The New Israel" is the theme
of the parley, which will open
the evening of Jan. 29 with a
session on the Israeli political
scene.
