PHIL ROTHSCHILD
LOS ANGELES is one of the
most exciting cities I ever
visited. Against, a back-drop of
majestic mountains on one side
and • the blue Pacific on the
other, it seems a fantastic
world's fair by day and an in-
credible fairyland by night. By
the time you finish reading this
travelog, you'll believe I was
being paid by the California
Chamber of Commerce.
Time evaporated as my United
Mainliner zoomed across the
countless miles and over moun-
tains in a little more than nine
.hours! Within those few hours
one can have the great Pacific
Ocean, miles of mountains,
tawny de. serts and Hollywood,
the fabulous land of make-
believe.
