A fireplace banked

background Sunday for the mar-
riage of Shirley Ruth Wohlman,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Irving
Wohlman of Fullerton avenue,
to Allen Jerome Schiff, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Morris Schiff of
Glendale avenue.
Rabbi Joshua Sperka read the
marriage rites in the presence
of the immediate family at the
home of the bride's parents.
The bride chose an afternoon
gown of aqua faille. Her short
veil was held by an aqua head-
dress. She wore an orchid
corsage.
Seymour Wohlman served as
best man.
The couple left by plane for
a honeymoon in California.
They will reside on Glendale
avenue.

At an evening ceremony Nov. 28 at Shaarey Zedek, Helen Ann
Miller became the bride of Marvin Manuel Shusterman, with Rabbi
Morris Adler and Ca4or Jacob Sonenklar officiating.
The bride is the dau ghter of Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Miller of
Grand avenue west, and her husband's parents are Mr. and Mrs.
Abraham Shusterman of Clairmount avenue.
The bride wore a traditional gown of white satin. The fitted
bodice was fashioned with a gathered bertha of white satin and a
yoke of illusion. The full hooped skirt was gathered in front with
satin rosettes and the bustled back extended into a court train.
Her lace-trimmed fingertip veil was held in place by a scalloped
beaded crown. She carried a mother of pearl Bible With an arrange-
ment of white orchids.
Mrs. Edward Goldberg, sister of the bride, was matron of honor;
Ruth Shusterman, sister of the bridegroom, maid of honor; and San-
dy Silber, flower girl.
Bernard Plotkin was best man, and ushers were Alfred Bricker,
Leon Brazner, Edward Goldberg, Marcus Plotkin, Gerald Erwin
Miller, brother of the bride, and J. Leonard Ilyman.
Following a dinner and reception, the couple flew to New York
for their honeymoon.

pire silhouette. A deep cuff of French embroidery and illusion gave
the gown the off-the-shoulder portrait look. A fitted bodice ended
in a full skirt and court train, while a queen's coronet of orange
blossoms held the illusion veil. She carried a white Bible adorned
with white orchids and stephanotis.
