Pioneer Women
to Mark Festival

Chnukah parties are on the so-
cial calendars of two Pioneer
Women's organizations.
An Israeli film will be shown
by the Goldie Myerson Group at
its affair, Saturday in the home
of Mary Bedmarsh, 290k Webb
avenue.
A candlelighting ceremony, re-
freshments, including latkes, and
cards will be other highlights.
Husbands and friends are in-
vited.
The Avodah Group's celebra-
tion will be at 8:30 p. m., Mon-
day, in the home of Sylvia Isaacs,
18877 Stoepel avenue.
After a candlelighting cere-
mony, latkes and other refresh-
ments will be served.
Members are requested to
bring an inexpensive toy or
drawing material for hospitalized
children,

Junior Iladassah
to Hear Rosenman

Junior Hadassah will hold its
monthly Oneg Shabbat at 8:30
p.m., Friday, Dec. 24, in the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Burns, 8425 LaSalle boulevard.
Program chairman, Audrey
GeHand, announced that the dis-
cussion leader will be Yehuda
Rosemnan, young adult director
of the Jewish Center, who will
speak on "A Young Jew Faces
the World Today."

a member but wishes to attend

Dr. Drews Speaker
for Junior Group

The second in the series of
discussion groups sponsored by
the Junior Service Group will be
held at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday,
Dec. 29 at the Center. Dr. Robert
Drews, psychiatrist, will lead a
discussion on "Mental Hygiene
Asnects of Religion."
Philip Nuscholtz will be the
moderator. Questions will be sub-
mitted from the audience to Dr.
Drews. The program is open to
all young adults.

AID IMMIGRANTS
A new immigrant-adjustment
center will be established this
year near Tel Aviv by the
Junior Mizrachi Women's Or-
ganization.
