A golden wedding anniversary celebration will be held for Mr.
and Mrs. John Sodos of LaSalle boulevard, Jan. 2 at Bnai David.
Friends of the couple are invited to the traditional double ring
ceremony, at which Rabbi'Joshua Sperka and Cantor Hyman Adler
will officiate. A family dinner will follow.
Mr. and Mrs. Sodos, age 72 and 68 respectively, were married in
Ekaterinoslav, Russia and• were citizens of France until their arrival
in the United States in I914.
They have four daughters, Mrs. Louba Lupiloff, Mrs. Edith
Hirsch, Mrs. Nena Sandubrae and Mrs. Jennie Solomon, 12 grand-
children and four great grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Sodos are active in the Detroit Auxiliary of the
Los Angeles Sanatorium. Founder of Congre g ation Ahavath Achim,
Mr. Sodos is president of the. Ekaterinoslav Relief Association, a
member of the Ukranian Farband, Arbeiter Ring and Bnai Brith
and former board member of Chesed Shel Emes.

make the party a success in-

stein, Max Siegal, Morris Haupt-
man and Boris Litvin. Proceeds
will go for Israeli relief.

in seed pearls. Her three-quarter
length veil of matching French
illusion was held in place by a
ruffled bonnet and fresh flowers.
She carried a Bible adorned with
orchids and stephanotis.

The couple are honeymooning
