Center's winter day camp for

A certificate of commendation
was presented to the Equality
Club at its 21st annual donor
luncheon last week at Bel-Aire
by the Jewish War Veterans.
The award hailed the club for
its contribution to the defense
of Israel by helping equin a
military hospital there. Zelda
Levett is president of the
group. Emma Peck, vice-presi-
dent, served as luncheon chair-
man. with Rose Karnow as
co-chairman.

Detroit Section, National
Council of Jewish Women, has
oversubscribed the $10.000, al-
located as its share of the na-
tional fund-raising effort for
overseas services, Mks Pearl
Devenow, chairman of the com-
mittee handling fund-raising
booklets, revealed.
