Want to Make a Chanukah Salad?
Bnai Moshe Institute Tells How

The second meeting of the Bnai
Moshe Parents' Chanukah Insti-
tute will take place at II a.m.,
Sunday, in Rosman Hall.
Walter Farber, director of the
Bnai Moshe religious school and
organizer of the institute, an-
nounced that Mrs. Harry Guns-
berg has accepted the chairman-
ship of the meeting and that the
highlight of the occasion will be
a discussion of Chanukah foods
—how to make the Festival of
Lights more "tasty" to the entire
household.
Mrs. Theodore Isaacs will offer
suggestions on how to introduce
the Chanukah motif in the foods
prepared for the family. Among
some of the recipes to be demon-
strated by Mrs. Isaacs and her
two daughters, Phyllis and Pen-
ny, will be a Menorah vegetable
salad, a Menorah fruit salad, a
Maccabee sandwich and Dreidel
sandwich, as well as recipes for
cookies and cupcakes decorated
with a Mogen Dovid, a Menorah
and other details relating to
Chanukah.
In addition to food demonstra-
tions, Mrs. Gunsberg is planning
the singing of Chanukah songs
and playing of Chanukah games,
which were discussed at the Dec.
5 meeting of the institute, and a
contest quiz on the history of
Chanukah.
The third meeting of the
tote will be held Sunday, Dec. 19.
Mrs. Morris Klarman will act as
chairman when arts and crafts
for Chanukah will be demon-
strated and constructed by Mrs.
