Plans for Zedakah Club's donor luncheon Nov. 30 are being
completed by the organization's leaders above. L. to r., Mrs.

Paul Deutch. The affair will be held at the Book Cadillac
and it will feature George Scotti, populai entertainer, a
fashion show presenting the latest in New York styles and
prizes. Mrs. Elias requests that reservations be made early

Jericho Lodge
Maps Dedication

Jericho Lodge No. 490, Inde-
pendent Order of Odd Fellows,
will dedicate its new temple at
11331 Linwood avenue. Sunday
evening, Nov. 21.
Francis M. Dodge, master of
the Grand Lodge of Michigan,
will be in charge of the cere-
mony.
The celebration will get under-
way with a banquet at 6:30 p.m.,
with Rabbi Benjamin Groner of
Windsor as principal speaker.
Dancing will follow.
The new building will house
Jericho Lodge No. 490, Jericho
Rebekah Lodge No. 328 and
Jericho Encampment No. 173.
Detroit Post No. 135, Jewish
War Veterans, will also meet
there.
William I. Miller is chairman
of the committee on arrange-
ments.

A special meeting of the Zion-
ists-Revisionists will be held
Thursday, Nov. 18, in the
Yeshivath Chachmey Lublin,
12007 Linwood avenue.
Jonas Dworin, formerly head
of the Havana, Cuba, Revision-
ists, will discuss the forthcoming
visit of Menachem Beigin to this
country in the interest of the
"Jewish Movement for Freedom"
party in Israel.

go, will teach a course entitled
"Can the Talmud guide us to-
day?"
At the late Friday evening
service Nov. 19, Rabbi Simon
will preach and Cantor Sonen-
klar will officiate.
On Saturday, Nov. 20, the
study courses will continue.

Annual Luncheon
Set for Wednesday

Final plans are being made by
the Ladies of Yeshivah Beth Ye-
hudah for their annual donor
luncheon to be held at 12:30
p.m., Wednesday, at Lachar's,
Dexter and Waverly, Mrs. Pearl
Rottenberg, president, revealed.
Rabbi Samuel H. Prero, new
executive director of the Yeshi-
vah, will be guest speaker. A
special film on the Beth Jacob
School, sponsored by the group,
will be shown.
Mrs. D'avid J. Cohen will be
toastmistress, and Rabbi Max J.
Wohlgelernter will give the
yearly report for the ladies or-
ganization. Vocal selections will
be presented by Cantor Hyman
J. Adler.
Proceeds will go for the school
and to purchase a lot upon
which the future home of the
Yeshivah will be built. The pub-
lic is invited. For tickets call
the Yeshivah, HO. 5605, or Mrs.
Rottenberg, TO. 5-1171.
