Pledge Payments
to Be Made Nov. 29

Monday, Nov. 29 will be Col-
lection Day for the Women's
Division of the Jewish Welfare
Federation.
Announcing the second date
for collection of pledge pay-
ments in the Allied Jewish
Campaign, Mrs. .Max Frank,
president of the division, re-
vealed that, for the convenience
of contributors, workers in vari-
ous areas of the city will make
house calls to pick up payments.
These visits will be preceded
by a telephone call to determine
which contributors want to take
advantage of the opportunity to
make payments on their pledges.
Homes will be open in these
designated areas where cam-
paign workers, under the chair-
manship of Mrs. Daniel Krouse,
collections chairman, will turn
in their day's collections.
While all contributors may of
course take a full year to pay
their pledges, Mrs. Frank em-
phasized, in view of the urgent
need for cash in Israel and Eu-
rope, especially to cover the cost
of transporting DP's to Israel,
many women will want to an-
swer these immediate needs
with early payments.
