been changed to the Bel-Aire.
At a recent meeting in the home

Vista avenue, a pledge of two
cases of canned milk for Israel
was made to the Louis Marshall
Lodge of Bnai Brith. Donations
also were made to the Commu-
nity Chest and Sister Kenny
Foundation, and $250 was pledg-
ed to Hadassah for the care of
a child fqy a year.

Brandeis Lodge
Tops Drive.Quota -
Its I,000-case quota of canned

milk for Israel has been sur-
passed by the Louis D. Brandeis
Lodge of Bnai Brith.
The goal was topped at a fund-
raising affair, Tuesday at the La-
bor Zionist Institute.
Over 600 cases had been raised
prior to the affair. The milk
will be shipped to the Jewish
State through the Bnai Brith Aid
to Israel Drive.
Harry Cohen was manager of
the Brandeis softball team, which
captured the Bnai Brith cham-
pionship by defeating Detroit
Lodge, 3 to 2. David Taxe
pitched the title-winning game.
