Mr. and Mrs. William Freed announce the engagement of
their daughter Esther Rochelle to Arnold Sherman, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Oscar Sherman. An early December wedding is planned.

Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Singer of Chicago announce the be-
trothal 'of their granddaughter Phyllis Rae Rudin to R. Paul
Zusman, son of Mr. and Mrs. I. Zusman. The bridegroom-elect
is a senior at the Northern Illinois School of Optometry. The
wedding will take place Sunday evening at Congregation Beth
Hamedrosh Anshe Luknik.

Mrs. Ethel Brill announces the engagement of her daughter
Mildred Freeman of Tyler avenue to Marvin Goldman of Glad-
stone avenue, son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Goldman. The wedding
will take place Dec. 5 at Turover Temple.

the engagement of their daughter Marilyn to Raymond L. Simon,

Los Angeles. Miss Goldstein was graduated from Peabody Dem-
onstration School in Nashville and attended Vanderbilt University.
She received her bachelor of arts degree from New York Uni-
versity. Her fiance attended UCLA and Wayne University. The

pearls. The fitted bodice was

train. A crown of satin tulle
held her fingertip veil of illusion.
