Bride ofMarty Mauler

Ruth Katz Is Honored
at Pre-Nuptial Affairs

The engagement and approaching marriage of Marilyn Yvette
Fealk to Albert Mayer Borkin was announced by the bride-elect's
parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Fealk, at a reception last Saturday in
home on Fullerton avenue. Miss Fealk attended the University
of Michigan. Her fiance, son of Mrs. Rose Borkin of Miami, is a
senior at the University of Miami law school and a member of the
Nu Beta Epsilon law fraternity. During the war, Mr. Borkin served
with an amphibious force in the Pacific, with the rank of lieutenant
junior grade. The wedding will be held Nov. 23 at Shaarey Zedek.
Mrs. Celia Harris of Toledo announces the
engagement of her
daughter Rhoda Hope to Harold J. Rosen, son of Mr. and Mrs.
J. J.
Rosen of Minneapolis. Miss Harris is a graduate of the University
of Toledo. where she was a member of Phi Alpha Theta, national
honorary history society. She did graduate work at the University
of Chicago. Mr. Rosen received his degree from the University of
Minnesota. He served three years in the army air force.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Kane of Cortland avenue announce the
engagement of their daughter Marilyn Lee to Julius Rachmiel, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Rachmiel of Webb avenue.
The betrothal of Betty Kowalsky to Jerome Stasson, son of
