Claire Neback Bride
of Sherman Allen Kay

Wed to Easterner in Buffalo Rites

Shirley Leader Wed
in Home Ceremony

Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Allen
Kay are on a motor trip to the
west coast following their mar-
riage July 21.
Mrs. Kay is the former Claire
Neback, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Maurice Neback. The bride-
groom's parents are Mr. and
Mrs. Harry Kay.
Rabbi Jacob Segal, assisted by
Cantor Pavel Slavensky, per-
formed the double ring candle-
light ceremony in the Crystal
ballroom of the Hotel Book Ca-
dillac.
The bride wore a mid-Vic-
torian gown of satin and antique
lace fashioned with _ an antique
lace cape and fingertip veil of
white illusion crowned with
pearls. She carried a white
prayer book covered with white
orchids.
Attending the bride were her
cousin Mrs. Clarence Gross of
Montreal as matron of honor
and Pearl Neback of Montreal,
Sheila Frenkel, Joyce Katz and
Mimi Levin as bridesmaids.
Donald Kay served his brother
as test man. Ushers were Eddie
Neback, the bride's brother;
.Irving Katz, Asher Tilchin and
Bob Bloomfield.
Upon their return, the newly-
weds will live in Ann Arbor,
where both will attend the Uni-
versity of Michigan.

The marriage of Shirley Lea-
der, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Jack Leader of Sturtevant ave-
nue, to Harold Hillman, son of
Mrs. David Hillman of Chicago,
was solemnized July 18 by Rabbi
A. M. Hershman at the bride's
home.
A family dinner followed, after
which the newlyweds left for
a honeymoon in Wisconsin. Up-
on their return, they will reside
in Grand Rapids.

Vacationing at Greenbush Inn
are Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Harvith
of the Seward Hotel.

Janet Wexler, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Ham, Wexler of Lin-
wood avenue, is visiting in Mat-
tapan, Mass.

Ben Winsens Mark
25 Years of Marriage

Mr. and Mrs. Ben Winsen of
Grand avenue west celebrated
their 25th wedding anniversary
at a dinner for 45 guests, July
28 at Northwood Inn.
Coming here for the event was
Mrs. Abe Glickman of New York
City, who was the Winsens'
houseguest.

Statler in Buffalo, N.Y., for the marriage July 4 of Gloria Elaine
Newman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Newman of Oakman
boulevard, Detrok, to S. Lawrence Morrison, son of Mr. and Mrs
Joseph Morrison of Buffalo.
Rabbi Morris Adler of Detroit and Rabbi Eli A. Bohnen of
Buffalo officiated. All-white satin and imported lace were worn
by the bride. White orchids and white roses former her bouquet.
Viola Shogan was maid of honor and Shulamith Adler, Shir-
ley Hershman and Barbara Cohen were bridesmaids.
Best man was Morton SilberBerg and ushers were Norman
Newman, Gerald Altman and Leo Ginsburg.
Upon their return from a wedding trip to Florida and Cuba,
the newlyweds will make their home in Buffalo.
