Mrs. Kay is the former Claire Neback, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Neback. The bride- groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Harry Kay. Rabbi Jacob Segal, assisted by Cantor Pavel Slavensky, per- formed the double ring candle- light ceremony in the Crystal ballroom of the Hotel Book Ca- dillac. The bride wore a mid-Vic- torian gown of satin and antique lace fashioned with _ an antique lace cape and fingertip veil of white illusion crowned with pearls. She carried a white prayer book covered with white orchids. Attending the bride were her cousin Mrs. Clarence Gross of Montreal as matron of honor and Pearl Neback of Montreal, Sheila Frenkel, Joyce Katz and Mimi Levin as bridesmaids. Donald Kay served his brother as test man. Ushers were Eddie Neback, the bride's brother; .Irving Katz, Asher Tilchin and Bob Bloomfield. Upon their return, the newly- weds will live in Ann Arbor, where both will attend the Uni- versity of Michigan. The marriage of Shirley Lea- der, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Leader of Sturtevant ave- nue, to Harold Hillman, son of Mrs. David Hillman of Chicago, was solemnized July 18 by Rabbi A. M. Hershman at the bride's home. A family dinner followed, after which the newlyweds left for a honeymoon in Wisconsin. Up- on their return, they will reside in Grand Rapids.
