Joyce to Herbert S. Keidan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Keidan
of Calvert avenue. Miss Becker attended the University of Michi-
gan art school and was affiliated with Sigma Delta Tau. Mr. Kei-
dan, a veteran of three and one-half years of overseas service, re-
ceived his law degree in June from Wayne University.
A dinner at the Franklin Hills Country Club was the setting
for the announcement of the engagement of Jane Helper, daughter
of Mrs. Lewis Helper of Gladstone avenue and the late Mr,
Helper, to Robert R. Gould, son of Samuel Gould of New York
City and the late Mrs. Gould. The couple will be married Nov. 7
in Great Neck, L. I. Their wedding trip to California will be in a
private plane, with the bridegroom-elect as pilot. They will make
their home in Great Neck.
