Mrs. Meyer Kuneck, of 18637

His maternal grandmother,
Mts. Max Pitkowsky, thought
the occasion should be celebrated
with a party. She made the ar-
rangements.
But Mrs. Pitkowsky started
thinking of Jewish parents and
children in Israel, and she de-
cided that the party should have
a two-fold purpose.
So it was that the party July
10 became a small fund-raising
affair for the new Jewish State,
and $136 was contributed by the
guests.
The money was turned over
to the Chernigover and Loyever
Aid Society, of which Mrs. Pit-
kowsky is a member, to be sent
to Israel.
