Nearly 100 Jewish women's or-
ganizations were solicited by the
treasury gifts committee of the
Women's Division, Allied ,Jewish
Campaign. as the committee went
"over the top" in 1948, Mrs.
Samuel B. Danto, division chair-
man of treasury gifts, revealed.
The committee raised $18,200
against a quota of $15,000. This
is in addition to individual gifts
by members of the organizations.
