Corrine Campau Sets
Sept. 5 Wedding Date

Miss Marie Newman has re-
turned from a short stay in Tor-
-onto. Ont.

were hosts at a dinner- party in
their home on Wildemere avenue.

Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Akers
gave a dinner party Thursday at
the Fox and Hounds Inn.

Back from a trip to New York
City are Mr. and Mrs. Charles E.
Brown.

Mrs. Nathan Schermer left last
week for Chattanooga, Tenn.

Mrs. Emil Amberg and daugh-
ter Blanche spent the weekend
visiting friends in Cleveland.

In a candlelight ceremony
May 27 at the Northwest He-
brew Congregation, Sylvia Catt-
ier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Norman Cottler of San Juan
drive, became the bride of Ber-
nard Cohen, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Kaffman Cohen of Elm-
hurst avenue.
The bride chose a gown of
ivory satin with a bodice of ve-
netian lace, fashioned in a long
torso, and a matching ivory
satin open-crowned scalloped
cap held in place by a fingertip
veil of French illusion. She
carried a Bible with an arrange-
ment of white orchids and
streamers of stepanotis.
Rae Cohen was maid of honor,
and bridesmaids were Hilda Le-
vine and Penny Goodman. Ma-
rion Levine was junior brides-
maid.
Sam Cohen served his brother
as best man, and Harold Wald-
logic and Mickey Lee were
ushers.
Following a dinner and re-
ception, the newlyweds left on
a motor trip to Mexico.

Mrs. Herman Finsterwald of
Longfellow avenue is back after
a visit in Memphis, Tenn.

Mr. and Mrs Sam Rifkin of
Winona avenue have returned
from a stay in Los Angeles.

Mr. and Mrs. Morris Jacobs of
Glynn Court are spending the
weekend in London, Ont.

Visiting in Miami Beach is
Mrs. Phillip Ash of Sturtevant
avenue.

Stuart to Sol Brown, son of Mr.

been set for Dec. 12.

have returned from a motor trip
