visional Council of the State of
Israel, told the national confer-
ence of the United Jewish Ap-
peal,
Mrs. Myerson called upon 500
Jewish leaders for financial sup-
port to enable Israel to receive
and settle the large number of
new immigrants. She reported
that facilities of the Tel Aviv
port are being expanded to ac-
commodate the ships that will be
required for the mass transfer
of refugees.

determination of a father to
clear his son's name. The lad
has been expelled from a naval
school charged with theft. Con-
vinced of the lad's innocence,
the father disrupts the lives of
his whole family in his efforts
to remove the stain from the
boy's name.
