Lucy Sucher, bride-elect, was
feted at a luncheon given by
Mesdames Ernest Schwartz and
Harold and Donald Sucher at
the Canterbury House.
-Others who entertained for
her included Violet Roth and
Mesdames Harry, Ben, Max and
William Sucher. Miss Roth was
hostess to 25 guests at a shower
at littyler's. The second affair
was a shower for 90 women in
the Hotel Book Cadillac.
Mr. and Mrs. Alex Friedman
will celebrate their golden wed-
ding aniversary with an open
house Sunday in their home,
2336 Glendale avenue.
The Friedmans have three
sons, Alfred, Saul and Jerome,
four daughters, Mrs. Charlott
Braun of Cleveland, Mrs. Ben
Ellenberger of Dallas, Tex., Mrs.
Jack Wasserman and Mrs. Har-
riet Pritz, and eight grandchil-
dren.
