The Women's Division of the
Allied Jewish Campaign will
hear the final report on its
drive at a luncheon at 12:15 p.
m., Tuesday at the Hook Ca-
dillac.
The women are seeking 100
percent coverage of slips and
hope to announce at the meeting
that their goal has been reached.
The men's groups will meet at
the same time.
"The volunteer workers in the
Women's Division this year have
done a splendid job of seeing
their prospects and securing
pledges," Mrs. Joseph H. Ehrlich,
who with Mrs. Henry Wineman
heads the campaign, said.
"We are confident that with
the enthusiasm already dis-
played by the women we wile
reach our goal."
How successful the campaign
has already been was illustrated
by the fact that 1,000 contrib-
utors attended the three Free-
dom Luncheons, April 14, 15
and 19.

Detroiters Speed
Tools to Palestine

Detroit industrialists and busi-
nessmen are contributing ma-
chinery and equipment to the
Palestine projects committee.
The committee was set up by
the World Confederation of Gen-

with needed equipment.
Several trucks, a jeep, automo-
tive equipment, garage equip-
ment, and machine shop equip-
ment are now on their way to
Palestine from Detroit.
More machinery is still need-
ed, in particular machine shop
and wood-working shop mate-
rial. If you have any such equip-
ment or know where it might
be obtained as a gift to the

ture chambers. According to
the paper, he expressed his
complete disbelief of the stories
told by survivors of the death
camp and was seemingly
amused by all he heard and
saw.
When he was shown the
operating tables on which vic-
tims were experimented with,
or their gold teeth removed, he
laughed uproariously, Warsaw
Life reported.
The Polish press has been out-
raged by the ambassador's at-
titude.
