Party on Monday

The annual mother-children
party of Pisgah Women, Bnai
Brith, will be held at 8 p.m.,
Monday, in Bnai Moshe, Mrs.
Lewis Manning, president, an-
nounced.
Mrs. Samuel Gold is in charge
of the program, which will con-
sist of a variety show, to be pre-
sented by students of the Julie
Adler Dancing School, and songs
by Belle Menkowitz.
Members are requested to
bring canned foods for overseas
relief.

Contributions to the SOS
drive will be made at a meeting
of the Louis Marshall Business
and ProLissional Chapter, Bnai
Brith, at 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, in
the Belcrest Hotel. Norma Lewis,
SOS chairman, urges members
and their friends to bring can-
ned food and clean clothing.

THE BBYO's Division "J" of
the Allied Jewish Campaign
is hard at work under the chair-
manship of Ilarry Mirvis.
At the kickoff meeting last
week, kits of materials needed
for soliciting were passed out,
and pledges were taken from in-
dividual AZA, BBG, BBYM and
BBYW workers. Over $300 was
promised.
A clever pledge of $6.61 was
made by a member of Seymour
Sobole Chapter No. 661 of AZA.

Rabbi Lager Lodge
Plans Box Social

Because of the success of its
first box social, the Rabbi Man-
del M. Zager Lodge of Bnai
Brith will sponsor another at
7:30 p.m., Sunday, in the Rose
Sittig Cohen Bldg.
Movies, music and prizes will
be highlights, according to Irv-
ing Kanfer and Louis Schneider,
chairmen. "The admission is
free. Just pack a box lunch
and come over," the chirmen
said.

ESSRIG LECTURE
Rabbi Harry Essrig's fourth
lecture in his series on "The
Epic of Jewish Emancipation"
will be given Tuesday in the
Center.
