Mrs. Emanuel Siner of New
York City will be guest speaker
at the first Torah scholarship
luncheon of the Sisterhood of the
Northwest Hebrew Congregation
at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, in the
Synagogue.
Mrs. Siner is vice-president of
the National Women's League of
the United Synagogues of Amer-
ica.
Proceeds will be used to estab-
lish a scholarship at the Jewish
Theological Seminary of Ameri-
ca in honor of Rabbi Jacob E.
Segal.
Mrs. Max H. Goldsmith is
chairman, assisted by Mesdames
Herbert Harris and Ira Kaufman,
co-chairmen; Edward Rothman
and Barney Golden, chairmen of

Dondineau Lauds Classes
of Yeshivah at Graduation

Offering high praise to the
educational program of Yeshi-
vath Beth Yehudah, Dr. Arthur
Dondineau, superintendent of
Detroit schools, pointed out
that of 300,000 Detroit school

supported schools. He spoke at
