SAM KEITH, 9445 Quincy ave- nue, owner of Keith Photog- raphers, 11344 Dexter boule- vard. I think Bnai Brith should have joined the American Jewish As- sembly. I think all Jewish or- ganiza- tions should join. As it is, we have a hundred and one dif- ferent organi- zations, many of them floun- dering around, and none of them, including Bnai Brith, carrying enough weight. American Jewry should have one big, powerful organization as its spokesman. HERSCHEL GREENBAUM, 2291 Euclid avenue west, student at a Rabbinical academy in New York. I do not believe there shOuld be an American Jewish Assem- bly. It would be dominated by reform and conse rvative Jews and would not be a true repre- sentative of all Jews. However, if American Jew- ry decides in favor of the Assembly, I think Bnai Brith should join. For one thing, it would make the organization stronger. Secondly, I think Bnai Brith should show more interest po- litically. vutzah Luncheon Slates Itabli Segal Rabbi Jacob .Segal will be guest zpeaker at the Bar Mitz- vah donor luncheon of the La- dies Auxiliary of Kvutzah Iv- rith to be held Tuesday at Shaa- rey Zedek. • Cantor Hyman Adler will sing, accompanied by Bella Bitten Goldberg. We have too many Jewish groups now and, as a re- sult, we never Seem united on any question. It is important that all Jews stand together on important is- sues. ALEC SCIIERR, 4210 Cortland avenue, salesman. Bnai Brith is doing a wonder- ful job, but I think it should have joined the American Jew- ish Assembly., Today, more than ever be- fore, American Jewry must work together to make the Jewish State successful. One large organiza- tion such as t h e Assembly would be more influential as our spokesman than the many different organizations acting independently. - It's too bad that American Jewry cannot make up its mind on what it really wants.
