Phil Brestoff will play at the
second annual dance of Wayne
University Hillel, Feb. 7 at Ma-
sonic Temple.
Aaron Katzman is in charge
of the affair assisted by Elaine
Siden, Sam Shreeman, Morris
Novetsky.
A Hillel Queen will be se-
lected from members by the
John Powers Agency.
Karl Hass, Detroit pianist, and
Cantor Pavel Slavensky will be
guest artists at the fifth an-
niversary concert of the Wo-
men of Gemiluth Chassodim
Jan. 31 in the Art Institute.
The Hass Ensemble, composed
of members of the Detroit Sym-
phony Orchestra, will also per-
form. Proceeds will go to
European orphans.
Hass will be heard in a Beet-
hoven sonata and works by Cho-
pin and Debussy. Slavensky will
sing Lieder by Schubert and two
arias, with Rebecca Frohman at
the piano. The ensemble will
conclude the program with a per-
formance of the Trout Quintet
by Schubert.
