DETROIT JEWISH CHRONICLE

3rd Unit of Brilliant Work
Published by Rabbi Stollmun

The third volume of Rabbi
Isaac Stollman's work, "Minchas
Yitschak" on Leviticus and
Numbers, has been completed,
the publishers announced this
week.
The first two volumes of the
series published in 1934 and 1941
made a profound literary im-
pression in Jewish intellectual
and Rabbinic circles. The books
evaluate the Jewish cultural her-
itage and offer a religious-phil-
osphical treatment of the prob-
lem of survival of the Jewish
people.
Rabbi Stollman, in a statement,
said:
"I am most happy that my
book was in the press in the
weyk of the UN decision on Pal-
estine, not only because I could
preface a few words to the
volume in commemoration of
this historic occasion, but pri-
marily because a major part of
the book is devoted to the prob-
lem of liberation of Israel and
dedicated to the bestirring of
the senescent consciousness of
our people."
Rabbi Stollman is an active
