Reburial rites at the Hebrew Benevolent Society for Pvt.
F:Iward Newmark, who was killed Jan. 19, 1945, in the Battle
of the Bulge. The, military ceremonies were conducted under
the auspices of the Jewish War Veterans, with internment in
the special veterans section of the Hebrew Memorial Park.
Rabbi Morris Adler and Cantor Jacob Sonenklar officiated.
Pvt. Newmark, who was 19, is survived by his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Joseph Newmark, of 3256 Sturtevant avenue, and a
sister, Nora. Pallbearers are Howard Adelman, Jack Gold-
stein, Isadore Stein, Harold Jacobson, Dr. Jack Sklar and
Louis Liss.
