Central is faced with the prob-

league lead before mid-year
graduation rolls around. At that
time, both Taub and Rothstein
will receive diplomas.

BULLETIN
EWRY EVERYWHERE must
summon the resolution and
fortitude of the Maccabees if it
is to meet the challenge con-
fronting it, Col. Julius Klein of
Chicago, national Commander,
declared.
It was Maccabeean courage,
he said, that first demonstrated
to the world Jewry's readiness
to meet oppression and slavery
with force of arms if neces-
sary.
Today. he continued, the hero-
ic descendants of these Jewish
warriors are proving that they
are no less prepared to defend
the sacred soil of their Home-
land. •
But the passion of freedom-
loving men, he warned, will re-
quire material support if the
Jewish State is to be adequately
protected • against violation of
the United Nations' majority de-
cision.
"In that support," Col. Klein
said, "the Jewish War Veterans
of the United States will join
without stint, and with the
same sense of responsibility that
was upon the organization in all
the years that led up to realiza-
tion of Jewry's ancient drAm."
