Recently when your reporter talked to Robert St. John, the noted commentator, we wondered hpw firmer feelings of friendship could be established amongst teenagers of this country and the young people of Europe. Mr. St. John replied: "A sure link of friendship and under- standing can be established if you, in this country, try to make friends through letter exchange with young people in foreign countries. Extend them your hand in this way." It is a fact, fellows and gals, you'll receive a great deal of pleasure out of foreign corre- spondence . . . The other day we received a letter from 15 year old Vera Santo of Paris in which she writes in excellent English, "I am a great Zionist, I hope you are too. My greatest wish is to go to Palestine and to fight to win our country back." It is wonderful that, meanwhile, thank the Almighty, the wonder- ful dream of a Jewish State has come true at last.
