Youth Education
to Spur Campaign
Members of the Youth Educa-
tion League will model furs at
a -fashion show to be presented
at a rally Monday in the Bel-
crest 'Hotel.
The meeting is being held in
conjunction with the group's
Pledge Fund Drive.
Mrs. Eli Gross and Mrs. Har-
ry Millman are arranging a pro-
gram to be featured at the
pledge fund luncheon- Jan. 27 in
the Fountain room of Masonic
Temple.
Ticket sales are under the di-
rection of Mesdames Alfred La-
kin, chairman, Ben Bloom, Lew
Kolodin and Robert'Dishell. The
yearbook is being edited by Mrs.

A donation of $3,000 has been
made by the league for equip-
ping the Braindeis Vocational
School in Palestine.

Sports Program
Mery Pregulman, former Mich-
igan' All-American and center for
the Detroit Lions, will be among
the celebrities who will appear
at the second annual sports night
of the Ivan S. Bloch Lodge Mon-
day at the -Jewish Cultural Cen-
ter.
Others on the program will be
John Hackett, Wayne University
football coach; Al Nagler, sports
director of WJBK; Cincy Sachs,
coach of last year's Detroit Fal-
cons: and Lew Handler, boxing
referee who will serve as master
of ceremonies.
The affair, being sponsored
jointly by the 'membership and
fund-raising committees, will
launch the lodge's membership
drive.
The campaign will honor Larry
Kopel, a charter member, who
has brought 25 new members
into the lodge, Max Kushner,
membership chairman,' announc-
ed.
Winner of the group's raffle
will be announced at the meet-
ing by Martin Pastor. The event
is open to the public. ,
