Sholem Aleichem
Awaits Donor

at Affair on Dec. 3

Under the leadership of Ethel
Shorr. the Women's Division of
the Sholem Aleichem Folk Insti-
tute has completed arrangements
for its annual donor event,
scheduled for Dec. 3 in the main
auditorium of the Art Institute.
The program will feature Em-
ma Lazaroff Schaver, soprano,
who will present folk songs she
brought back from displaced per-
sons camps in Europe. Rebecca
Frohman will be her accompan-
ist.
Mark Schweid, monologist
em New York, will entertain
with drama, humor and song, and
Moish• Haar, director of the
Sholem Aleichem Folk Institute,
will present a group of kinder-
garten children in a sketch.
Due to the food shortage the
division has decided to dispense
with an elaborate luncheon. In-
stead the teachers and pupils
will serve tea and light snacks
in the Italian room after the
concert.

20th Donor Luncheon

guest speaker at the 20th annual
donor luncheon of the Equality
Club to be held Dec. 2 at Bel-
Aire.
Vocal selections will be pre-
