dinner committee. Mrs. Ehrlich is chairman of the Detroit
committee of the campaign, which is seeking to raise between

A 12th Street Neighborhood
Council to foster friendly rela-

groups was formed Tuesday at
a meeting of the Detroit Inter-
racial Committee.
The meeting was inspired by
the Jewish Community Council
efforts to halt panic sales of
property in the section and to
foster inter-group respect and
friendliness.
Jews, Negroes and non-Jewish
whites participated in the meet-
ing. John Feild of the Interracial
Committee presided.
Bnai Brith volunteers.are as-
sisting the Community Council
in checking vacancies in the area
and learning the reasons for
property shifts.
