Budget Approved
by Pisgah Lodge
for 1947-48 Season

Meetings of Pisgah Lodge are
scheduled for Monday and for
Oct. 20.
At a meeting of the executive
'committee, the budget for 1947-
48 and a tentative program for
the next four months was ap-
proved.
Herbert Eskin, Pisgah presi-
dent, stated that the next two
months promises to be the most
active for the lodge in several
years.
All meetings will be geared to
climax with the celebration of
the lodge's 90th anniversary, he
said.
Pisgah's bowling league held a
meeting of its captains last week
and organized in an all-out ef-
fort on behalf of the 90th anni-
versary souvenir book. Ad solici-
tation committees were organized.
Meeting at the Barium Hotel
last week under the chairmanship
of Milton M. Weinstein, a past
president of Pisgah, a committee

LODGES TO PARTICIPATE
All lodges are participating
in the 90th anniversary of Pis-
gah's souvenir book and plan
to turn out in full force for
the banquet Nov. 18, at Ma-
sonic Temple, Karbel said.
"It is gratifying to know that
all the lodges are going to help
us celebrate our 90th birthday,"
said Harry Yudkoff, past presi-
dent of Pisgah and of the Dis-
trict Grand Lodge No. 6, who is
chairman of the anniversary
committee.
"A history of the Jewish com-
munity for the past 90 years
would not be complete without
recording the manifold activ-
ities of Pisgah Lodge and Bnai
Brith during that period.
