the season at a fund-raising
luncheon of the Home Relief
Society Oct. 21.
Home Relief has increased its
Work because of more requests
for aid in meeting the higher
cost of living. Funds are pro-
vided by the group for purchase
of textbooks, furniture, food and
clothing, for medical care and
toward the purchase of homes.
In addition, the society visits
Jewish patients in various hos-
pitals, supplying them with
candy, cigarets, newspapers and
magazines.

The crystal ballroom of the Book Cadillac Hotel was the
scene of the marriage Sept. 6 of Constance Schwartz, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schwartz of Webb :.venue, to William
Klinsky of Chicago.
The bride's sister-in-law Mrs. Ernest Schwartz was maid
of honor, while Harriet Aiken, Dolly Lublin and Shirley Simons
acted as bridesmaids.
Best man was Ernest Schwartz, and ushers were Sol Ben-
aderet and Edward Bernstein and Irving Cohen of Chicago.
The couple honeymooned in the Adirondack Mountains and
Canada and will make their home in Chicago, where Mr. Klinsky
is completing his law studies at De Paul University.
