Plans Spring Nuptials
Engagements
Tall Towers Club
Opens New Season
Mr. and Mrs. Saul L. Kopman of Whitmore road announce the
engagement of their daughter Barbara to Herbert Kaufman; son
of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Kaufman of Virginia Park. Miss Kopman
attended Highland Manor and the University of Michigan. Mr.
Kaufman also attended the University of Michigan.
Plans for- the new season were
announced at the first fall meet-
ing of the Tall Towers Club
Wednesday at the home of Es-
ther and Rose Sears of Roch-
ester avenue.
Joe Goldman, chairman of the
social committee, outlined a
schedule of events, which will
include a cocktail party Oct. 5
and a Halloween hard-times
party.

the engagement of their daughter Ruth to Dale Weller, son of
the late Mr. and Mrs. Casper Weller. Mr. Weller attended the
University of Michigan.

Play for the Robert Cox Cup
begins Monday, with an 18-hole
stroke play qualifying round.
The lowest 32 will qualify for
match play which begins at 10
a.m. Tuesday, with pairings de-
termined by a numerical draw.
Match play will continue at
18 holes, and the final will be
played Saturday, Sept. 27, in
holes.
