in Candlelight Rites

At a candlelight ceremony
Sept. 4 in the Crystal Ballroom
of the Book Cadillac Hotel, Joan
Wilk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Benjamin Wilk of Canterbury
road, was united in marriage to
Selig Herbert Estroff, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Estroff of
Lakeland, Fla.
Mrs. William M. Harris, sister
of the bride, was matron of
honor. Melvin B. Estroff, brother
of the groom, was best man,
and ushers were William M.
Harris, Nathan Estroff and
Gerald A. Cohen.
The newlyweds are spending
their honeymoon in Mexico, and
upon their return will reside in
Lakeland, Fla.

Marjorie Joyce Agree, daugh-
ter of Mr and Mrs. Charles N
Agree, will be united in mar-
riage to Benjamin Van Dox, son
of Mrs. Alice Loomis of Los
Angeles and the late Mr. Van
Dox, Jan. 29, 1948.
Miss Agree attended Ward
Belmont and the University of
California at Los Angeles. Her
fiance attended the University
of Wisconsin.

Mrs. Vernon Pope and fa-
mily of New York are the
guests of Mr. and Mrs. Melville
S. Welt.

After attending the Feerer-
Roemer wedding, Mr. and Mrs.
Milton Orwin have returned to
Kalamazoo.

Back from visiting her fiance
and family in Minneapolis is
Sylvia Mackey of Woodingham
drive.

Renee Salon will leave this
weekend with her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Ben Salon of Long-
fellow avenue, for Gainesville,
Ga., where she will enter Bren-
oir College.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Jacobs of
Hazelwood avenue spent a week
in Memphis, Tenn.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Frano-
vitz of Collingwood avenue have
returned from Cleveland.

Mrs. Jewell Isaacson former-
ly of Chicago boulevard is now
making her home at 18269 Ap-
poline avenue.

was a bridesmaid.
Bert Simons, brother of the groom, was best man, and Arthur
Behrendt and Irving Frank were ushers.
The newlyweds are spending their honeymoon at Lake Placid
