COAL is the SAFE

fuel

Detroit home-owners who burn coal to heat their homes can

the city ordinance above. A fire-extinguisher may be a handy
Ind foresighted thing to have about the house ... but there's no law
that says you must keep one near your furnace when you burn coal.
Because COAL is the SAFE fuel . . . it ignites only when you want it to;
it cannot leak, seep or spill, needs no pipes or storage tanks that may
become defective. Fires caused by home-heating fuels may be few
but when you burn COAL, you reduce your personal odds to the
absolute minimum.

Your Local Coal Merchant will help you get the Best out of Coal

'it Its safety is only one of the valuable, often unique qualities
of Cool as a fuel. Your local retail coal merchant would like
to point out the others to you . . . and how to keep your ,
furnace or stoker operating at top efficiency and economy. \
