At a cocktail party Aug. 10, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Brown of
Lilac avenue announced the engagement of their daughter, Phylliss
Rossa, to Louis D. Mann of Champaign, Ill.
Miss Brown is a student at the University of Illinois. Her
fiance is a graduate of the same school. The wedding will take
place in February, 1948.

Miss Alva Ronn left on an ex-
tended vacation and will stop
in Cleveland to visit relatives
and friends. She will then pro-
ceed to New York and embark
on the S.S. Evangeline for Ber-
muda and the Bahama Islands.
While in Cleveland she will be
joined by Miss Rose Glaser who
will continue the trip with her.
BBYO'S Yom Kippur Night
dance to be held Sept. 24 in the
Grand Ballroom of the Masonic
Temple will feature a nationally
