GALS, WE REALLY have some
super-exslusive news for you
this wcrek, 'cause we had a
chance to chat with Robert Pow-
ers from the glamorous modeling
agency that bears his name .. .
Mr. Powers was here for a day,
and so we got some straight
opinions for you. Says Mr. Pow-
ers, "You girls should really start
wearing girl clothes again. Dres-
sing casual is all right, but really,
one mustn't overdo it. The boys
truly shun the sloppy sort of girl.

"You teen-agers should not try
to imitate someone you like in
the movies or on the stage, but
rather play up your own charms
and individual personalities."
That's really some good advice.
As a closing word, Mr. Powers
added, "Remember all the critic-
ism your parents give you is in
your very best interest. Your par-
ents have had a lot of experience
and really know quite a lot" ...

ON THE SERIOUS SIDE fel-

things which might do us good
to think about . . . Last week
three young Jewish boys, who
were fighting for the freedom of
our people in Palestine, were
executed. For them it was the
same as it was for the GI. They
died fighting for Liberty.
It's up to us, right now, to see
to it that there are no further
wars. We have to fight for that
