Candlight Rites Unite Pair

Dorothy . Mickelson
Nuptials Solemnized

The marriage of Dorothy Mic-
helson_ daughter of Mrs. Anna
Mickelson and the late Hyman
Mickelson, to Bernard Appelblatt,
was solemnized by Rabbi Isaac
Stollman at Congregation Mish-
kan Israel.
Mrs. Jerome Green, the bride's
sister, was matron of honor, and
Ida Michelson, another sister, was
maid of honor. Bridesmaids were
Shirley Appelblatt, Sylvia Weid-
er and Sylvia Green. Judy War-
shaw was flower girl.
Irving Appelblatt served his
brother as best man, with Irving
Leider, Danny Arnold and Harry
Michelson as ushers. Harvey
Allen Slutsky was ring bearer.
The couple spent their honey-
moon in northern Michigan.

Applebaum Marks
His 75th Birthday

Mr. and Mrs. Moe Leiter of
Chicago boulevard have returnees
from a motor trip to Toronto,
Ithaca, and New York City, after
bringing their daughter Sylvia
Muriel to Cornell University for
the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Ed-
ward Krause of Calvert avenue,
who accompanied the Leiters, re-
turned with them.

Louis Applebaum, life-long res-
